Abstract:
The present invention provides an organic light emitting element which comprises a light emitting layer having excellent orientation properties. An organic light emitting element in which a light emitting layer that contains a host material and a delayed fluorescent material is formed on the surface of a base layer that contains a compound represented by the general formula. In the general formula, X represents O, S or N(R9); each of R1 to R8 represents a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom or a substituent; R9 represents a substituent; and a benzofuro structure, a benzothieno structure or an indolo structure is fused to a benzene ring of the general formula, or alternatively, R6 is a carbazolyl group, a dibenzofuryl group or a dibenzothienyl group.
