Title:
ORGANIC OPTICAL MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/039597
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a new donor-acceptor compound that emits light even in a solid state. The present invention provides an organic optical material in which (1) a conjugated molecule that has (a) at least one electron-donating site, (b) at least one electron-accepting site, and (c) at least one conjugated site in each molecule, and (2) a proton-donating or electron-pair-accepting compound form, at the electron-accepting site, a complex that exhibits a non-covalent interaction. The organic optical material is characterized in that the complex is solid at room temperature, and exhibits the property of emitting light having a maximum fluorescence wavelength at which there is a Stokes shift of at least 5% of the value of the maximum absorption wavelength from the maximum absorption wavelength towards the long wavelength side.
