Abstract:
An organic sludge disposal method characterized in that dehydrated sludge is adhered onto the surfaces of drums (also referred to as "drum surfaces") in a double-drum drier that is so adapted as to heat with exhaust heat and then dried, the dried sludge is removed with a scraper provided in the inside of the drier, the removed dried sludge is fed into a biomass combustion furnace to burn the dried sludge using a biomass fuel as an auxiliary fuel, and exhaust heat generated as the result of the burning is utilized as a heat source for the drier; or a biomass combustion furnace which has such a structure that a single set or multiple sets of double drums are provided in the upper part of the biomass combustion furnace, wherein two partition plates which can slide toward a part into which the dehydrated sludge is to be dropped down and can open/close a supply port are provided at a part at which top two drum surfaces face each other in parallel, the dehydrated sludge is thrown while dividing between the internal part of the furnace and the external part of the furnace with either one of the partition plates, and a scraper for removing the sludge that has been dried on the drum surfaces is provided on each of the drum surfaces, and the biomass combustion furnace is provided in a bottom part and is integrated with the drums.
