Abstract:
An organic solvent-based coating material for use in curtain coating, the coating material comprising: a resin; a surfactant; and an organic solvent, wherein the number-average molecular weight of the resin is more than 1500 but less than 10000, and the dynamic surface tension of the organic solvent-based coating material as measured by the maximum bubble pressure method is 36-50 mN/m at a bubble lifetime of 0.05 seconds and 32-45 mN/m at a bubble lifetime of 0.5 seconds. A method for producing a precoated metal sheet using the organic solvent-based coating material.
