Abstract:
Provided is an organic waste water treatment device that can inhibit an increase in nitrate nitrogen concentration in an oxygen-free tank while avoiding membrane clogging of a membrane separation device, even in a case where the amount of sludge returned from an aerobic tank to the oxygen-free tank has increased. The organic waste water treatment device comprises at least: a biological treatment bath composed of, at least, an oxygen-free tank, and an aerobic tank in which a membrane separation device is disposed immersed in activated sludge; and a sludge return path for returning activated sludge from the aerobic tank to the oxygen-free tank, wherein the membrane separation device is configured to repeat a filtration operation and a filtration rest, and organic waste water containing nitrogen in the activated sludge is biologically treated. The aerobic tank includes an air discharge tube, and further includes a switching mechanism that switches between air supply to an aeration device provided in the membrane separation device and air supplied to the air discharge tube. Air is selectively supplied to either the air discharge tube or the aeration device through the switching mechanism during filtration rest of the membrane separation device on the basis of a DO value of the aerobic tank.
