Abstract:
Provided is an organism and substance manufacturing method that enables appropriate control of organism proliferation and substance production. The organism has equipped in DNA: a proliferation participating region that relates to organism proliferation; a first promoter region that expresses the proliferation participating region under the condition of bonding with a first compound; a substance production participating region that participates in substance production; a second promoter region that expresses the substance production participating region under the condition of bonding with a second compound; a CcaS gene region; a CcaR gene region; a RcaE gene region; a RcaF gene region; and a RcaC gene region, wherein one of the first compound and the second compound is phosphorylated CcaR generated from exposure to green light, and the other is phosphorylated RcaC generated from exposure to red light.
