Abstract:
This oriented apatite type oxide ion conductor comprises a composite oxide which is represented by the formula A9.33+x[T6.00-yMy]O26.0+z (in the formula, A is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Be, Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba, T is an element such as Si and/or Ge, and M is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of B, Ge, Zn, Sn, W and Mo), and in the formula, the value of x is -1.00 to 1.00, the value of y is 0.40 to less than 1.00, and the value of z is -3.00 to 2.00.
