1) Bite plate to be used for treatment of mandibular asymmetries such as the emifacial macrosomia, said bite being insertable on the upper teeth of the patient and having a different plan for occlusal contact with the lower teeth between right and left side characterized in that

- bite plate is smooth at the healty side of the patient (b), the contact between bite occlusal plane corresponding to said healthy side of the patient and the opposing arch being widespread, multiple and not - geared;

- bite plate presents a tilt at microsomal side occlusal plane (a) so that only buccal cusps of the lower dental arch contact against bite occlusal base while lingual cusps of the lower teeth have no contact but are free

And in that

- thickness of the occlusal area is larger at microsomal side with respect to healthy side.

2) Bite plate according to claim 1 further comprising, in the central / median part of the device, which is in contact with the palate of patient, an expansion symmetrical screw (c).

3) Bite plate according to claim 1 or 2 further comprising at the pathological side ah expansion screw (d) with vertical direction.

4) Bite plate according to one of preceding claims further comprising a vertical removable buccal shield (h) positioned in the fornix of the pathological side of the patient and in contact with his cheek, said shield (h) being long, in its sagittal length, from back teeth to canines and being inclined in the frontal plane so that the shield moves away from the teeth increasing its inclination from the bottom to the top of teeth and it tilts outward in the cheek of patient.

5) Bite plate according to claim 4 characterized in that said shield (h) further comprises thin metal wires (g) configured to be inserted into special guides present in the device

6) Bite plate according to one of preceding claims further comprising hooks configured to apply stably said bite to the teeth of the upper arch
