FIELD OF THE INVENTION:-

The present invention relates to an orthopaedic support device more particularly, the present invention relates to orthopaedic Hand support which is capable to adjust wrist tension by adding or removing springs.

BACK GROUND OF THE INVENTIO ;-

For many years, the advantages of providing orthopaedic hand support have been recognized. The finger thumb attachments are compulsory in ordinary orthopaedic hand support.

The conventional orthopedic hand supports are not suited for adjusting wrist tension. These orthopaedic hand supports caused difficulties to the patients.

The orthopaedic hand supports presently available are not capable to provide active exercise of fingers while using the orthopaedic hand supports, damage also caused to the hand supports which results the supports are broken.

The orthopaedic hand supports presently available are not Hygienic. As the manufacturing costs of those hand supports are higher, these supports are not economical. DESCRIPTION OF EXISTING PRODUCT:-

Existing product is an orthopaedic hand support device.

Hand support orthopaedic devices are the devices with finger thumb attachments. These are the devices without the facility for adjusting wrist tension.

It is known that various injuries and sprains can affect the hand or fingers. There are various type of treatments and rehabilitation methods for the same.

So far as fingers are concerned, most difficult situations arises from factures, dislocation of thumb, arthrosis or tendonitis of the thumb, metacarpophalangeal spairs, the after effects of fractures and of trapeziometacarpal arthrodesia and of thumb surgery. in these cases a plastic or polished polypropylene structure that may also be equipped with a wrist closing strap and a possibly an elasticated cotton protective cover to be put on before fitting the orthesis

In other cases, ortheses made from a rigid structure are used, fitted with a pouch in correspondence with the thumb to accommodate an insert that can be modeled after hot water has been inserted in the pouch.

The orthesis can comprise with ^' a rear splint to block the wrist and heat adaptable part,

The basis problem from using the conventional ortheses that once the position has been set, it is no longer possible to change this. OBJECTS;-

It is an object of the present invention is to provide an orthopaedic hand support device with or without finger thumb attachments.

It is another object of the present invention is to provide an orthopaedic hand support capable to adjust wrist tension.

It is another object of the present invention is to provide an orthopaedic hand support capable to provide active exercise of fingers.

It is still another object of the present invention is to provide an orthopaedic hand support without causing damage to the device while using.

It is still another object of the present invention is provide an oithopaedic hand support which is very hygienic.

It is another object of the present invention is to develope a hand support device with less manufacturing cost.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION :

The present invention is an Orthopaedic hand suppor device which is capable to adjust wrist tension by removing one spring or two springs. The device according to the present invention can be used for left hand or right hand. The device according to the present invention can be made in small, medium or larges sizes for both left hand or right hand. The orthopaedic hand device according to the present invention is a device with optional finger thumb attachments. The orthopaedic hand support device according to the present invention is to provide a device which is patient friendly by adjusting wrist tension.

The orthopaedic hand support according to the present invention is capable to provide active exercise of fingers.

The orthopaedic hand support according to the present invention which is unbreakable. The damage to the device will not happen while using.

The orthopaedic hand support according to the present invention is washable and very hygienic.

The orthopaedic hand support according to the present invention is well padded.

The orthopaedic hand support according to the present invention involves less manufacturing cost comparing to conventional devices, hence it is economical and affordable.

The orthopaedic ha nd support according to the present invention can be used in radial nerve palsy, posterior intraosseous nerve palsy or physiotherapy after extensor tendon repair.

Referring to figure - 1 , there is shown the orthopaedic hand support in accordance with the teaching of the preferred embodiment of the present invention. The orthopaedic hand support includes First spring - 1, Second spring - 2, Third spring - 3.

In the present invention, the spring - 1 and spring - 2 can be removed to adjust wrist tension.

The figure -2, the hand support device is shown in the finger thumb attachment position.

In figure - 3, the hand support device is shown by removing one spring to adjust wrist tension.

In figure - 4, the hand support device is shown by removing two springs to adjust wrist tension.
