Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide an oscillation plate type compressor formed in a simple
structure, manufacturable at low cost, and having a low noise and low vibration
oscillation plate rotation stopping mechanism. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS]
This oscillation plate type compressor comprises a spindle rotatingly driven
by a drive source, an oscillation plate oscillated according to the movement
of the spindle, pistons connected to the oscillation plate through connecting
rods, and cylinders which extend parallel with the spindle and in which the pistons
are inserted. The connecting rods are connected to the oscillation plate through
ball joints to allow the precession of the connecting rods when the pistons are
reciprocatingly moved. When the oscillation plate is rotated according to the
movement of the spindle and the connecting rods are oscillated beyond the range
of the precession thereof according to the rotation of the oscillation plate,
the outer peripheral surfaces of the pistons are pressed against the inner peripheral
surfaces of the cylinders to stop the oscillation of the connecting rods so as
to stop the rotation of the oscillation plate.
