Abstract:
Provided are an osteosynthesis implement, an osteosynthesis implement set, and an osteosynthesis member set with which it is possible to reliably restrict rotation of an osteosynthesis member after attachment to a site of bone fracture in a patient. This osteosynthesis implement, which is inserted through an intramedullary nail, has a shaft and a screw engagement part in which a plurality of unit screw threads circulating around the circumferential surface of the shaft are formed so as to be continuous in a spiral shape, said osteosynthesis implement having a shaft hole extending in the axial direction inside the shaft, an absence part at which a part of a specific unit screw thread is absent such that a pair of screw grooves that are adjacent across said unit screw thread connect with each other, and a hole part that opens such that each of the pair of screw grooves in the vicinity of the absence part communicate with the shaft hole.
