Abstract:
In order to remove a bone piece having a desired shape by a single cutting operation, this osteotomy device (1) is designed to cut a part of a bone and is provided with a wedge-shaped blade body (10) provided with an upper plate (12) and a lower plate (13) which meet at an acute angle. The blade body (10) is provided with a tip saw blade (11) formed at the tip edge at which the upper plate (12) and the lower plate (13) meet, and a file (15) formed on the surface of the upper plate (12) and/or the surface of the lower plate (13). The blade body (10) is brought into contact with a bone and vibrated in the width direction to cut the bone in contact with the tip saw blade (11) while filing the surface of the bone in contact with the file (15), and thereby cuts out a wedge-shaped bone.
