Abstract:
An out-of-head localization processing apparatus according to the present embodiment is provided with: a filter selection unit (14) that selects a preset filter; an out-of-head localization processing unit (12) that performs out-of-head localization processing using the preset filter; headphones (6) that output a signal from a test sound source to a user; an input unit (18) that accepts a user input; a sensor unit (16); a three-dimensional coordinate calculation unit (17) that calculates three-dimensional coordinates of a localization position of a sound image on the basis of a detection signal from the sensor unit (16); and a determination unit (19) that determines, on the basis of the three-dimensional coordinates for each preset filter, the filter most suitable for the user (1), from among a plurality of preset filters.
