Abstract:
A loudspeaker with a sealed enclosure having an active driver and a passive radiator mounted thereon is disclosed. The passive radiator is mounted essentially centrally in a passive radiator aperture and is held in place by a suspension which permits it to move in only a substantially linear direction. The enclosure and diaphragm are formed together in an injection molding process and the suspension is then co-molded between the diaphragm and enclosure.
