Abstract:
The present invention relates to an outdoor optical connector. The present invention may comprise: a connecting portion inserted into an adapter in which a photoconversion unit is installed, the connecting portion being connected to the photoconversion unit optically or electrically while surrounding an end of a cable; a shroud that retains the connecting portion and surrounds a part of the outer surface of the cable; an inner housing that surrounds at least a part of each of the connecting portion and the shroud outside the connecting portion and outside the shroud; a guide portion arranged on an end of the inner housing so as to guide while facing the interior of the adapter; and an outer housing arranged outside the guide portion and outside the inner housing and coupled to the adapter. The present invention can be easily applied to an electronic device having a terminal protruding outward from an adapter. An electric or optical connection can be made without inserting a connector deeply into the adapter. Furthermore, in terms of structure, coupling is easy, and the coupling can be maintained.
