Abstract:
This outdoor unit of an air conditioner includes: a bottom plate having formed therein a drain hole for draining water generated in a heat exchanger; a heater disposed on an upper surface of the bottom plate; a heater fixture for fixing the heater to the bottom plate while having the heater sandwiched between the heater fixture and the upper surface of the bottom plate; a screw that is inserted from above into and fastened to a threaded hole provided in a part where the heater fixture and the bottom plate overlap each other and that fixes the heater fixture to the bottom plate; and a protective cap covering, from the lower surface side of the bottom plate, a tip portion of the screw protruding downward from the bottom plate. The threaded hole is provided around the drain hole, and the heater fixture is fixed to the bottom plate around the drain hole.
