Abstract:
Provided is an outdoor unit for an air conditioner, the outdoor unit comprising: a housing; a compressor installed within the housing; an outdoor heat exchanger through which a refrigerant supplied from the compressor flows; a blower for delivering air to the outdoor heat exchanger; an electrical component box provided with an electrical component for controlling the compressor; a partition plate for separating the compressor from a blower chamber in which the blower is installed; an electrical component base installed above the compressor and separating from each other a machine chamber in which the compressor is installed and an electrical component chamber in which the electrical component box is installed; and a support for the electrical component base, the support being provided to the inner wall of the housing along the shape of the outer periphery of the electrical component base so as to protrude to the inside of the housing.
