Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an outdoor unit and an air conditioner configured so that the loosening of an affixation member for affixing a valve can be prevented.
[Solution] Provided is an outdoor unit which comprises: a valve connected to refrigerant piping installed in a machine compartment; a valve bed installed in the machine compartment and having the valve mounted thereon; a hold-down plate for affixing the valve to the valve bed; and a plurality of affixation members for fastening the hold-down plate to the valve bed. The hold-down plate has: a body in contact with the valve bed; and leg hold-down sections respectively extended from two portions of the body and holding down mounting legs provided to the valve. A plurality of first holes through which affixation members are passed are formed in the body, and the leg hold-down sections respectively have formed therein second holes through which affixation members are passed.
