Abstract:
An outdoor unit for an air conditioner that has an interior separated into a blower chamber and a machine chamber, that is provided with, in the blower chamber, a heat exchanger and a blower disposed on the front side of the heat exchanger, that has a compressor and a refrigerant container disposed in the machine chamber, and that is connected to an indoor unit via refrigerant piping passing through the space between the refrigerant container and a base plate on the machine chamber side, wherein the outdoor unit has a container leg member on top of which the refrigerant container is installed, that is fixed to the base plate, and that secures a space between the refrigerant container and the base plate, and the container leg member comprises a first leg member on which the refrigerant container is installed, and a second leg member that is positioned under the first leg member, to which the first leg member is connected so as to be freely movable in the vertical direction, and that is fixed to the base plate.
