Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner in which deformation of a heat exchanger that is caused by, e.g., vibration during transport is suppressed, and in which various adverse effects due to supporting the heat exchanger by a lower part are also suppressed. An outdoor unit for an air conditioner, the outdoor unit having: a body frame in which an air intake that takes in outdoor air is formed in a side surface of the body frame, and in which a hanging-receiving part having a beam-shaped support part is provided to the upper part of the body frame; an outdoor heat exchanger installed inside the body frame along the air intake; a hanging part that engages with the outdoor heat exchanger; and a connection member that connects the hanging-receiving part and the hanging part. The outdoor heat exchanger is supported by the hanging-receiving part via the hanging part and the connection member.
