Abstract:

Provided is an outdoor unit of an air conditioner in which an antivibration cushioning component is prevented from being left attached due to forgetfulness. This outdoor unit of an air conditioner has a casing, a compressor disposed on the bottom surface of the casing, a sound shield unit, and an antivibration cushion. The sound shield unit is a box-shaped member that is installed so as to cover the compressor and inhibits sound generated during operation of the compressor from being transmitted to the exterior. The antivibration cushion is a member that is sandwiched between the inner side surface of the sound shield unit and the compressor and prevents vibration of the compressor during transportation of the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit is furthermore provided with an alerting member displaying the procedure for removing the antivibration cushion.
