Abstract:
This outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided with a case that is formed by assembling together a plurality of panels, and that forms the external form of the body of the outdoor unit. The case has, as some of the plurality of panels, a front surface-side corner panel with an L-shaped cross-section that is disposed at a corner of the front surface side, and a rear surface-side corner panel with an L-shaped cross-section that has the same shape as the front surface-side corner panel and that is disposed at a corner of the rear surface side. The front surface-side corner panel or the rear surface-side panel is provided with a through-hole formation section for forming a through-hole to connect the inside and outside of the case. The front surface-side corner panel and the rear surface-side corner panel are configured to be interchangeable.
