Abstract:
The fan guard of this outdoor unit has, on the front face part, a protrusion that faces the radially-inside part of a fan and a slope that faces the radially-outside part of the fan. The protrusion permits insertion of a test finger and the shortest distance between the front of the protrusion and the fan is longer than the test finger. The slope does not permit the insertion of the test finger, and decreases gradually in height toward the peripheral end part.
