Provided are an outdoor unit, etc. having further improved safety achieved by preventing an increase in the concentration of the refrigerant in the housing due to the leakage of the refrigerant occurring in the housing. An outdoor unit is provided with: a compressor (10) for compressing a combustible refrigerant; a heat source heat exchanger (12) for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and air within the space not to be air conditioned; an outdoor unit blower (60) disposed at a position at which the outdoor unit blower (60) can blow air from the inside to the outside of the housing and driven in order to maintain the concentration of the refrigerant within the housing at or below a predetermined level; and an outdoor unit control device (70) for controlling the operation of both the compressor (10) and the outdoor unit blower (60). Even if the compressor (10) is in a stopped state, the outdoor unit control device (70) operates the outdoor unit blower (60) in order to maintain the concentration of the refrigerant at or below the predetermined level.
