Provided is an outdoor unit for an air conditioning device, the outdoor unit comprising a structure for arranging a heat exchanger unit so that the capacity of a heat exchanger can be further increased within the limited size range of a housing and so that the amount of air flowing through the heat exchanger can be increased to a maximum level. An outdoor unit for an air conditioning device has: a housing having a rectangular shape in a plan view and having a front surface, a left surface which is located to one side of the front surface, a right surface which is opposed to the left surface, and a rear surface which is opposed to the front surface; a heat exchanger having a shape consisting of a plurality of rectangles in a plan view, the heat exchanger being formed within the housing and having side surfaces respectively located on the front surface side, the left surface side, the right surface side, and the rear surface side of the housing; and a plurality of blower fans respectively arranged above a plurality of suction spaces formed within the heat exchanger having the shape consisting of the plurality of rectangles.
