Abstract:
This outdoor unit for a refrigeration cycle device comprises: a housing that constitutes an outer shell; a blower that is housed inside the housing and generates an air flow; and an electrical component box that is housed inside the housing, disposed above the blower, and has a bottom plate on which control components are placed. The bottom plate of the electrical component box has: an inclined portion that is inclined such that the upstream end in the air flow direction is located above the downstream end in the air flow direction, and on which a first component among the control components is placed; and a horizontal portion that has an upstream end in the air flow direction connected to the downstream end of the inclined portion in the air flow direction and extends horizontally toward the downstream side in the air flow direction, and on which a second component among the control components is placed.
