Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an outer-coating-coated high-nickel ternary positive electrode material and a preparation method therefor, and belongs to the technical field of lithium ion battery positive electrode materials. In the preparation method for the outer-coating-coated high-nickel ternary positive electrode material of the present disclosure, a silane coupling agent solution and a lithium polyacrylate solution are respectively sprayed onto the surface of a high-nickel ternary positive electrode material, so as to form an outer coating to coat the surface of the high-nickel ternary positive electrode material, such that the sensitivity of the high-nickel ternary positive electrode material to air moisture can be significantly reduced, and the storage performance and electrochemical performance of the high-nickel ternary positive electrode material in the air are improved. The outer coating comprises hydrophobic coating organic lithium silicate and lithium polyacrylate; and by adding the silane coupling agent, the silane coupling agent can react with residual alkalis on the surface of the high-nickel ternary positive electrode material to obtain organic lithium silicate with an oleophylic and hydrophobic functional group, and can be combined with the surface of the high-nickel ternary positive electrode material together with lithium polyacrylate, such that the residual alkalis on the surface of the high-nickel ternary positive electrode material are significantly reduced, and the conversion of LiOH into Li2CO3 is greatly inhibited.
