Abstract:
This outer lens for lighting fixtures for vehicles comprises: a first region (21) which is capable of transmitting light from a semiconductor-type first light source that has an emission wavelength within the visible light region; and a second region (22) which is adjacent to the first region (21) and is formed from a second material, while containing regions other than a contact region (31) that is in contact with the housing. The second material comprises: a first wavelength region which is not more than a first transmittance; a second wavelength region which is on the longer wavelength side than the first wavelength region, and which is not less than a second transmittance; and a third wavelength region which is between the first wavelength region and the second wavelength region. The first wavelength region contains short wavelength-side visible light from an S wavelength within the visible light region; the second wavelength region contains a wavelength region from an M wavelength within the visible light region, which is on the longer wavelength side than the S wavelength, to an L wavelength on the longer wavelength side; the first transmittance is a low transmittance; the second transmittance is a high transmittance; the transmittance of the third wavelength region increases from the S wavelength toward the M wavelength; and the first wavelength region contains the emission wavelength.
