Abstract:
The invention relates to an outer lens (3) for closing a housing of a lighting and/or signalling system housing a light module and an apparatus configured to emit and/or capture radiation through an insert (32) of the outer lens (3). To this end, the outer lens (3) comprises a main body (31) made of plastic, and the insert (32), made of glass, which extends through an opening (33) in the main body (31). This clever configuration then makes it possible to use an acoustic wave transducer mechanically coupled to the insert (32), in order to clean it and ensure proper operation of the apparatus.
