Abstract:
An outer mirror capable of radiating, before and after the storage thereof, the wide range of a road surface on the side of a vehicle body along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, comprising a mirror housing rotatable about a base end part in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body and extended from the side face of the vehicle body to the side of the vehicle body. A light unit and a lens fixed on the optical axis of the light unit are installed in the mirror housing. Before and after the rotation of the mirror housing, either of the light unit and the lens is moved to bring the radiating ranges on the road surface at the side of the vehicle body (1) into a same range or approximate ranges.
