Abstract:
Provided is a dynamo-electric machine having a structure in which the outer rings of a first and second bearings 8A, 8B for supporting a rotating shaft are fitted in the inner periphery of the yoke of a stator core and the rotating shaft 7 is press-fitted inside the inner rings of the bearings. In order to prevent damage to the rolling bodies of the first and second bearings during the press-fitting of the rotating shaft into the inner rings of the bearings, a collar 9 is inserted between the inner rings of the first and second bearings so as to be abut against the inner rings of the bearings and then the rotating shaft is fitted in the collar with a clearance therebetween. A collar position restricting protrusion 108 for restricting the radial displacement of the collar 9 is provided on the inner diameter side of bearing displacement restricting protrusions 107 with a gap retained between the bearings 8A, 8B, the bearing displacement restricting protrusions 107 being provided on the inner periphery of the stator yoke 101 in order to restrict the axial displacement of the bearings 8A, 8B.
