Abstract:
Provided is an outer rotor-type electric motor which can be manufactured with increased efficiency. This outer rotor-type electric motor is provided with: a permanent magnet; a magnet-holding body to which the permanent magnet is mounted; a rotor yoke having a base having formed thereon an axially facing holding body-mounting surface to which the magnet-holding body is mounted; and a bolt for affixing the magnet-holding body to the base. The rotor yoke further has a positioning member provided to the base and configured to radially position the magnet-holding body which comes into radial contact with the positioning member.
