Abstract:
An outphasing amplifier (2) is configured such that in a case where the total power of the power of a first signal to be amplified by a first transistor (13) and the power of a second signal to be amplified by a second transistor (14) is smaller than a first threshold value, if the amplitude of the first signal to be amplified is greater than the amplitude of the second signal to be amplified and the phase difference between the first signal to be amplified and the second signal to be amplified is constant, a synthesis circuit (17) synthesizes an amplified first signal output from the first transistor (13) with an amplified second signal output from the second transistor (14) as the synthesis of the two signals having mutually different amplitudes and mutually different phases.
