Abstract:
An output device (3) outputs a DC voltage applied between a first terminal (T1) and a second terminal (T2) via a drain and source of a semiconductor switch (30). With the output device (3), a conversion circuit (32) converts this DC voltage to a voltage of a designated polarity without regard to the polarity of the DC voltage. A booster circuit (33) boosts the voltage converted by the conversion circuit (32), and applies the boosted voltage to a gate of the semiconductor switch (30). The semiconductor switch (30) is on when the voltage of the gate using the potential of the source as the standard is a designated voltage or greater.
