Abstract:
An outrigger (171) for a concrete pump truck has a basic arm (171), and the basic arm has a supporting end hinged on the truck by a rotary shaft (174), and the rotary shaft is disposed to define an angle of less than 45 degrees between the shaft and the horizontal plane. The outrigger revolves around the shaft inwards when it is being folded from a supporting position. The angle between the basic arm and the vertical line of the horizontal plane is less than 80 degrees when the outrigger is in the final folded position. The type of the outrigger is single section or multisection. The folded position of the outrigger is upon the truck. When the outrigger revolves from the folded position to the supporting position, it moves in a vertical plane of the horizontal plane, therefore it will not be blocked by the things in the horizontal plane.
