Abstract:
This outsole is formed from a viscoelastic body comprising a rubber component. The viscoelastic body has a loss factor of 0.17 or more in a dynamic viscoelasticity measurement under conditions of a temperature of 23°C, 10 Hz frequency, 10% static strain, and 7% dynamic strain; has a storage modulus of 5.7 MPa or less in a dynamic viscoelasticity measurement under the same conditions; and has a ratio of tensile stress at 300% elongation to tensile stress at 100% elongation of 4.4 or more. This outsole has excellent wet grip performance and durability.
