The present invention relates to an oven (1) comprising an oven cavity (2) wherein the foodstuffs to be cooked are placed, a casing (3) in the form of a box with the front side open, that encloses the oven cavity (2), and a heater (4) disposed on the casing (3), a cooling unit (10) that is disposed in the body (2) and that has - a compressor (6) that enables the refrigerant fluid to be compressed, - a condenser (7) which provides that the refrigerant fluid leaving the compressor (6) condenses and changes to the liquid phase, - a condenser fan (8) that enables the condenser (7) to be cooled, and - an evaporator (9) through which the refrigerant fluid passes and that enables the environment wherein the evaporator is located to be cooled by providing the heat transfer between the refrigerant fluid and the environment, and a control unit (22) that enables the heater (5) and the cooling unit (10) to be controlled wherein the cooling duct (11) that is disposed between the cooling unit (10) and the casing (4), and an evaporator fan (12) that is disposed in the cooling unit (10) and that enables the air cooled by the evaporator (9) to be delivered to the cooling duct (11).
