Abstract:
Provided is an over-cap for a cup-type container, which can form a tap or an air
inlet easily, quietly and smoothly in the sealing cover of a cup beverage prepared
by the maker, so that it can be mounted for use as a drinking mouth piece in the cup.
The over-cap (1a) is mounted on a seal container having an upper-end opening
closed with a seal cover, so that it cuts off the seal cover. The over-cap (1a)
comprises an over-cap body (6) to be mounted on the seal container, and at least
one of cut-off members (7 and 8) formed integrally with the over-cap body through
a hinge (10) and made displaceable with respect to the over-cap body. The cut-off
members (7 and 8) include a blade member (24) and a finger-hooking member (25)
fixed at the blade member. The over-cap is equipped with a protecting rib around
the cut-off members.
