An over-current protection circuit and a motor controller comprising it. The over-current circuit includes a main power transmission circuit (1), a trigger circuit (2) and a detection circuit (3). The main power transmission circuit (1) includes a transistor (Q1) and a current-limiting resistor (R0). The trigger circuit (2) includes a transistor (Q2) and a shunt resistor (R1). The detection circuit (3) includes the current-limiting resistor (R0). One end of the shunt resistor (R1) is connected with an input end (4) and the collector of the transistor (Q1). The other end of the shunt resistor (R1) is connected with the base of the transistor (Q1) and the collector of the transistor (Q2). One end of the current-limiting resistor (R0) is connected with the emitter of the transistor (Q1) and the base of the transistor (Q2). The other end of the current-limiting resistor (R0) is connected with an output end (5) and the emitter of the transistor (Q2).
