Abstract:
An over-voltage protection and gain boot circuit of a power amplifier. The circuit comprises a power amplifier tube (101) and a diode (102), wherein the diode (102) is reversely connected to a gate of the power amplifier tube (101); a negative electrode of the diode (102) is connected to the gate of the power amplifier tube (101), and a positive electrode of the diode (102) is connected to a constant voltage source; and over-voltage protection and gain boot effects of the circuit are realized by means of controlling the turning-on state of the diode (102). In this way, by means of adding a diode device in the circuit, not only can gate-drain over-voltage protection be provided for the power amplifier tube (101), but the gain of the amplifier before power compression can also be improved, thereby improving the linearity of the power amplifier. The circuit is concise in terms of structure and occupies a small area, and the hardware cost is reduced.
