Abstract:
An overcurrent protection apparatus (10) protects a battery control unit (C) from an overcurrent by being connected to the battery control unit (C). The overcurrent protection apparatus has a fuse member (16), which is provided with a fuse (17), and an easy-to-fuse wire (18), which is connected in series to the fuse (17) and composed of a conductor having a melting point lower than that of copper, and which has a fusing current value set higher than that of the fuse (17). The fusing member (16) is connected in series to the battery control unit (C).
