Title:
OVERCURRENT PROTECTION CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/125269
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
For example, an overcurrent protection circuit 71 has a hiccup control unit 71b for hiccup-driving a switching element 10 so as to repeat predetermined on-time ton and off-time toff when the output current Io flowing through the switching element 10 becomes an overcurrent state. For example, the hiccup control unit 71b may also control at least one of the on-time ton and the off-time toff in accordance with a temperature detection signal S71c. For example, the temperature detection signal S71c may also be generated by detecting at least one of the temperature Tj of the switching element 10 and the temperature difference ΔTj between the switching element 10 and another element. For example, the hiccup control unit 71b may also perform at least one of the reduction of the on-time ton and the extension of the off-time toff when at least one of the temperature Tj and the temperature difference ΔTj is higher than a predetermined threshold value.
