Abstract:
This overcurrent protection circuit 4 comprises: a current detection unit 41 that detects output current flowing from a DC power supply circuit 2 to a load; a threshold value setting unit 43 that sets a prescribed threshold value for the output current; a timer unit 434 that times the overcurrent period when the output current exceeds the threshold value; and a control unit 46 that controls the DC power supply circuit 2 so that the output current becomes the threshold value or less when the output current exceeds the threshold value. The threshold value setting unit 43 changes the threshold value to be a set value smaller than that threshold value when the overcurrent period exceeds a prescribed time period.
