An overcurrent protection device (120) is provided with: a first filter circuit (21) for filtering the detected value of the current flowing through upper and lower arms with a first time constant; a second filter circuit (22) for filtering the detected value with a second time constant longer than the first time constant; a first interrupt circuit (23) for setting a first overcurrent determination value; and a second interrupt circuit (24) for setting a second overcurrent determination value smaller than the first overcurrent determination value. The operation of a first semiconductor switching element is stopped after the first time constant has elapsed from when a detection value exceeding the first overcurrent determination value is detected, and the operation of a second semiconductor switching element is stopped after the second time constant has elapsed from when a detection value exceeding the second overcurrent determination value is detected.
