Abstract:
An overcurrent stalling protection method and apparatus for an electric motor, and an electronic speed regulator and an unmanned aerial vehicle. The method comprises: determining a current gear of an electronic speed regulator, determining a current current threshold according to the current gear, acquiring a current electric motor current, and if the current electric motor current is greater than the current current threshold, determining that an electric motor has stalled, wherein the electronic speed regulator comprises at least two gears, each of the gears having a corresponding current threshold (101), and/or, acquiring a current electric motor speed, and if the current electric motor speed is less than a minimum speed threshold, determining that the electric motor has stalled (102); and if the time for the electric motor stalling exceeds a preset first time threshold, starting an electric motor protection measure (103). By means of determining whether an electric motor has stalled, and starting an electric motor protection measure when the electric motor has stalled, the electric motor can be prevented from being burnt out when stalling.
