Abstract:

An overdischarge preventing device according to the present invention may comprise: a first switch disposed in a first discharge path for electrically connecting a battery cell and an output terminal; a second switch which is disposed in the first discharge path and has one end and the other end, which are electrically connected to the other end of the first switch and the output terminal, respectively; a current limiting resistor which is disposed in a second discharge path for electrically connecting a first node disposed between the first switch and the second switch and a second node disposed between the second switch and the output terminal and has one end electrically connected to the first node; a third switch which is disposed in the second discharge path and has one end and the other end, which are electrically connected to the other end of the current limiting resistor and the second node, respectively; and a processor configured to configure a reference voltage by using one or more of the minimum driving voltage of the battery cell, a first drop voltage caused by the current limiting resistor, and a second drop voltage caused by the internal resistor of the battery cell and control the operational states of the first switch, the second switch, and the third switch on the basis of the reference voltage.
