Abstract:
The invention relates to an overhead reading light for a passenger seat, particularly in an aircraft cabin, comprising a first plurality of light sources (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30), all light from which is emitted along a center axis (32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52), a fixture (54) that holds the first plurality of light sources (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30) in place so that the center axes (32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52) of the light sources of the first plurality of light sources (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30) are in a plane and inclined relative to one another, and an activation device (62) that is connected to the first plurality of light sources (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30) and is designed to activate one of the chosen light sources of the first plurality of light sources (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30).
