Abstract:
A storage battery control device detects the value of a current sent to an overhead wire which indicates the total of the value of a current output by a storage battery and the value of a current output by a transformer substation, and controls the charging or discharging of said storage battery in such a manner that, when the detected value of the current sent to the overhead wire is less than a first threshold value, the charging rate of the storage battery reaches a charging rate target value. Furthermore, the storage battery control device controls the charging or discharging of said storage battery in such a manner that when the detected value of the current sent to the overhead wire is greater than the first threshold value, the output voltage of the local device is maintained at a constant voltage.
