Abstract:
A thermal sensing overheat protector (1) is mounted in a cavity which includes
a house (5) and a cover (4). The overheat protector (1) has a bimetal actuator (3)
which is provided on the end plane (22) of an electric immersion heater, wherein
the end plane (22) is perpendicular to the connection terminal of its heating
element (21). The bimetal actuator (3) is thermal contact with the end plane (22),
and its mounting position overtops the lead-out slug (231,232) area of the electric
heater.
