Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an overpass identification method and apparatus. In the method, a terminal device determines an overpass identification parameter of a vehicle, if the overpass identification parameter meets a first condition, determines that the vehicle is located on a road on the upper side of the overpass, and if the overpass identification parameter meets a second condition, determines that the vehicle is located on a road below the overpass. The overpass identification parameter comprises a vehicle speed of the vehicle or a stop state parameter of the vehicle. The stop state parameter of the vehicle comprises at least one of the following parameters: the number of stops within a first time period, stop duration, and distance between adjacent stop places. The first condition is used to indicate a relationship between the vehicle speed of the vehicle and a corresponding speed threshold. The second condition is used to indicate a relationship between the stop state parameter and a corresponding threshold. According to the solution of the present application, the problem in the prior art that whether a vehicle is located on an overpass cannot be identified is solved, the number of errors in navigation can be reduced, and the accuracy of navigation can be improved.
